The Barcelona Bike Tour starts daily at 11.00h and 15.00H

Our daily bike tours in Barcelona depart at 11:00 AM and 3.00 PM. Private tours at the requested time. Bike Tours with a Dutch guide start at 10:30h and 14:30h.

Plaça de George Orwell, 08002 Barcelona

Our Barcelona bike tours depart from Plaça de George Orwell (Carrer de Escudellers, 48, 08002 Bcn). We are located in the old city center near the famous Plaza Real.

Everything you need for a safe and fun bike tour through Barcelona is included in our guided bike tours. Each participant gets a comfortable and well-maintained city bike and a helmet for extra protection.

Yes! There is a 15-minute break in the middle of the tour for a tailet visit or drink.

Besides the many stops we make during the Highlights Tour, we take a break of about 15 minutes in the beautiful city park during the Highlights Tour Barcelona. This is for a toilet visit and/or to buy a quick snack or drink. With our private tours, you can take as many breaks as you wish. 

Camp Nou is situated on the outskirts of the city, so this stop is not in our bike tours. However, it is possible to adjust the route during a private tour and include Camp Nou as a stop in the bike tour.

park Güell is situated on a hill outside the city center, making it inaccessible by bike. If you’re planning to visit, be sure to purchase your tickets in advance, as same-day tickets may not be available on busy days. The best way to buy tickets is through the official Park Güell website.

The minimum age to drive a bicycle during our bike tour is 5 years of age.

Our private bike tours are suitable for children starting at 5 years old. For our combined bike tours, children aged 6 and up can join, depending on their individual riding skills. It’s important that your child is confident and comfortable on a bicycle. We also offer child seats for kids weighing up to 22 kg.

Participation in our bike tours is at your own risk. We do everything we can to ensure the tour is safe and enjoyable, but Perry Tours cannot be held liable for personal injury, damage, or loss of property, unless there is proven negligence on our part.

We recommend taking out your own travel or accident insurance for extra peace of mind.

Perry Tours, as a company, is properly insured with a valid liability insurance policy (Responsabilidad Civil Profesional) in accordance with Spanish legislation.

All our bike tours are rain and sunshine resistant. Fortunately, it rains very little in Barcelona (even on days when rain is predicted).

In case of rain or potentially dangerous weather, you can, of course, cancel or reschedule the bike tour to another day free of charge.

If you think you’re going to be late, call or text us directly at +34 603 32 65 88. Often, based on your location, we can estimate how long it will take before you reach our starting point and can assist you with the right metro/bus or walking route.

Try to be on time if you have chosen the Highlights Group Tour. We ask you to be present 15 minutes before the start of the tour.

It is not possible to use the toilet in the shop. About halfway through the bike tour, we take a break in the park, where public toilets are available. For young children with unforeseen needs, we can make a stop during the bike tour.

Booking is easy via Whatsapp or by the bookingform, payment is after the tour and you can cancel anytime free of charge.

No, there is no deposit. Payment is after the bike tour. *For a reservation of large groups we ask for a prepayment of €10 per person.

During the bike tour, you can leave your small backpack or bag in the shop.

For our bike tours in Barcelona, we use well-maintained city bikes with 3 gears. We have specific sizes for children from 5 years old on and child seats for small children up to 22 kg. 

  • children’s bikes 18″ and 24″ available.
  • Child seat +€5 (child rides for free).

Yes! Barcelona is one of the safest cities to cycle in Spain.

Safety is paramount on every chosen bike route. The bike route is safe for children from 5 years old. All bike routes are designed to avoid traffic congestion and use bike paths for most of the tour.

Transportation

The best option is : Parking Port Barcelona Columbus, Moll de la Fusta

  • Port Barcelona Columbus, Moll de la Fusta: This parking is close to the harbor and easily connects to the highway, about a 10-minute walk to the bike shop at Plaça de George Orwell.

  • Aparcament Saba Catedral: Located in the city center, near the Cathedral (not to be confused with the Sagrada Familia), about a 10-minute walk to the bike shop at Plaça de George Orwell. Note: There are currently roadworks near the Cathedral.

  • Interparking Las Ramblas: Situated on Las Ramblas, just 5 minutes from the bike shop at Plaça de George Orwell. Note: Due to works on Las Ramblas, this parking may not always be accessible.

If you’re traveling from Costa Brava, Girona, Tarragona, or elsewhere, Google Maps provides all the details you need. You’ll find information on which train or metro to take, the stations to get off at, and the estimated travel time.

Our meeting point is approximately 20–30 minutes from the Viking cruise terminal by taxi, depending on traffic. The terminal is located at the Port of Barcelona, and taxis are readily available to bring you to our location. If you’re comfortable using public transport, you can also take the T3 Portbus to the Columbus Monument (Plaça de Colom) and walk to our meeting point in about 15 minutes from there.
